Thanks for visiting my Website it showcases my love for the American South West. I love the open spaces and the fascinating history that washes across the land. The color and light of Monument Valley or the depth and hues of the Grand Canyon.  The People of the South West are an independent sort, many belong to clans or tribes or religious persuations and their views of the land are tied to their religious beliefs.  Their traditions are timeless...

I strive to capture a glimpse of the timeless.... South West Photo Bank is a lifetime of photographing the American South West, Baja and places in Mexico.  I have been blessed to have visited the APACHE Reservations both the White Mountain Apache and the San Carlos Apache Reservations. I spent time on the Navajo Reservation during the Bennett-Freeze era and the Battles on Big Mountain, observed Veterens marching and Hopi protesting. The Hopi have been in Arizona longer than any other group, some say 10,000 years, they are very religious and very private lifes living on those isolating Mesas. The Desert Tribes, the Tohono O'odham, the Pima, Maricopa and Yacqui have all made their mark on southern Arizona and Northern Mexico. I have visited most of the Ancient Ruins of the Anasazi, the Mogollon and what there is of the Hohokam and Trincheras Cultures. Chaco Canyon is the crown jewel of those ruins, but Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, GrassHopper present day Pueblos like Laguna, Taos and Acoma give us a timeless view of the Old West. Tombstone, Arizona and the O.K. Corral give us Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday and Big Nose Kate and a rich view of YesterYear.

Rock Art, carved and pecked into the rock is scattered all across Arizona, New Mexico, Utah all states I range and roamed over the years prowling down dusty roads in search of treasure.
