These photos reflect the 1970's and 1980's on the Tohono Oodham Reservation. The black and white mostly comes from Pisinemo Village and area, color reflects later periods, like the 1990's to present. Chepa Franco, Tohono woodcarver, learned her talent from watching her husband carve, both were well known. The b&w at the end are 1950's images from the Tucson Citizen newspaper files are so of the older Tohono images on file and show the school at Pisinemo. Other b&w are historic views...
