Who knows what the ancients meant when they began cutting artwork from the rocks around them. Many archaeologist believe however there may be hints about their past and travels. Some believe these rock drawing document the migrations ancient people experienced and may demonstrate one tribes relationships to another. These sketches at Newspaper Rock outside of Needles District of the Canyonlands National Park, may well show how the Hopi people once traveled south as far as Southern Arizona before returning to the north section of the state and settling on their present day mesas....<br />
